I’m coming to the realization that all of these charities are nothing more than fronts for middle aged white women to give themselves paychecks and pat each other on the backs telling each other what a great job they are doing …

when in reality they are only helping themselves and creating a revolving-door system that never really helps anyone in any real substantial way … I asked around … nobody knows of anyone transitioning from this place to temporary or permanent housing … with or without a job … only if they have had severe or multiple health issues … after 6 months most people are kicked out of here … Go over to Torres for 3 months … then reapply to the facility again for another 6 months … In the meantime … the charities are accepting millions of dollars in donations and grants …they do the bare minimum … pay their employees below market rate for the same work done in the private sector … and are providing nothing other than a system that generates revenue for a few at the top … and have created a perpetual system that provides ‘treatments’ and not cures ! this is the problem with this country’s healthcare system … When profit out weights patient … The system is a failure! we need to fix this … If it’s not already too late 🤔
